SAM registration will open in Spring

SAM 2023 Registration:


Registration for Summer Acoustic Music in the Pines 2023
will open at 11:00 AM PDT on Saturday, March 25th.
 


The registration fee for this year’s camp is $590, which includes housing, bedding, and all meals.  We do not make provisions for partial stays at SAM, and there is an additional charge if you desire a private room as a solo registrant or as a couple.  Note that we cannot guarantee that private rooms will be available – we won’t know about that until we’ve completed registration. Partial stays are unavailable.



We conduct our registration on the Internet, using a using a website service called Ultracamp.  It’s first come, first served, and 80 registration slots will be made available on the 25th.  We’ll open a waiting list should all the available openings be filled.


Our recent (post-pandemic) experience with registration is that the camp fills up very quickly, so it’s best to act promptly once registration opens.


A few days before the opening of registration, we’ll post a web link here and also circulate it to the SAM mailing list – this will be the link to the SAM registration portal.  If things work as we intend, that link will be live (but registration will not) a bit in advance of registration opening, so that you can log in to Ultracamp if you have an existing account, or create one if you do not, and satisfy yourself that the link is working properly for you.  You’ll need to create an Ultracamp account in order to register for SAM on the 25th.


On Saturday, March 25th at 11 AM PDT, that link will become live for registration, and you’ll be guided through the registration process once you log in to Ultracamp.  During the registration process, you’ll be able to pay your registration fee using a credit card (preferred) or with a check.  Your registration fee must be fully paid in US funds before you come to camp unless prior arrangements are made with us.  (At camp we want to focus on music, not financial transactions!)
