2024
August 25th — August 30th
Schedule
Eat, jam, eat more, sleep, repeat.
Tuition includes good, healthy meals, lodging or tent space if preferred.
There will be dinner Sunday and evening snacks.
We’ll be the only group on the site during this year’s Summer Acoustic Music session. We’ll use the cabins and South Lodge for housing. Huckleberry House will not be used for housing this year.
We will be able to accommodate RVs and tent campers at SAM again this year. I will lobby hard for the return of the Porta-Potti in the field for RV/tent dwellers, and we should have Huckleberry House available for showers and bathroom use again, too.
We’ll take our meals at Madson Lodge as usual. Pilgrim Firs will serve three meals per day to us — not yet sure about 10 PM snacks! I will also lobby for the return of the outdoor tent pavilion for meals and evening gatherings -- it was a lot of fun last year, really a pleasant space.
We will not be able to accommodate partial stays at camp this year.
IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION
We’ll honor and observe State of Washington regulations and CDC guidelines for gatherings like ours which are in effect at the time of the camp.
For the safety of other campers and staff, each of us must have completed a Covid-19 vaccination series including one booster before coming to camp. We recommend that you digitize your Covid-19 vaccination record card, so you can provide evidence of your current vaccination status. Additional information about Covid protocols will be available as the date for camp approaches.
Please contact Mark McPherson if due to medical circumstances you have received medical advice not to receive covid vaccine or a booster shot, and we’ll see what can be done.
I’m excited at the prospect of getting together again, and hope to see you all in late August! (I know, I said exactly this last year, and it’s even more true this year!) In the meantime, please send me your questions, and let me know what I may have omitted.
Cheers, Mark & Joe
